Financing Your Certificate Program
Financial Aid (such as FAFSA, Pell Grants, etc.) is NOT applicable for Continuing Education students. Here are some options for you:
Continuing Education is partnering with CitiBank, to provide CitiAssist (private) loans for students. CitiAssist loan payments are automatically deferred for six months after completion of your certificate program. Please visit their website for more information and to apply.
Important: Please note that our CitiAssist school code is 001138-61.
Another option for you may be a personal loan with SallieMae. We are partners with this company; they are a SallieMae group. SallieMae offers loans to students for training/educational purposes. These are personal loans which you must qualify for and pay back in full. SallieMae will allow you to defer payment on your loan for one year. For more information, visit their website. Important: Our SLM school code is: 001138-98.
If you are currently employed, inquire with your employer as many companies provide tuition reimbursement/assistance for professional development courses and programs.
Qualified students (currently unemployed) may be eligible under the provisions of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. California's Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), established in compliance with WIA, provides customer-focused employment training for adults and dislocated workers. For more information, contact the local WIA office nearest you.
Military, veterans, and their eligible dependents can take advantage of tuition assistance for many of our educational training and professional development programs. For more information, please visit our website.
