Tuition and FeesFees for Cal State East Bay Continuing Education courses vary, depending on the type of course selected. Visit our course catalog to view the fee(s) for a specific course. Registration is incomplete until full tuition and fees have been paid. Visa, MasterCard, purchase orders (mail your original PO and registration form to our office), as well as check and money order are all acceptable forms of payment. Make checks and money orders payable to "CSUEB". Course FeesFees vary by program. Please refer to individual courses under our Online catalog for fee information. Late FeesRegistrations and fees must be submitted before the first meeting of the course. In some cases, payment at the first course meeting may be accepted if space is available and the instructor approves. For courses with five or more meetings, a $25.00 late registration fee per course is charged. Late registration is not permitted for courses with four meetings or less. This policy applies to both credit and non-credit courses. Administrative Fees
Financing Your Certificate ProgramTraditional Financial Aid (such as completing the FAFSA, Pell Grants, etc.) is not applicable for Continuing Education certificate programs. There are other options available for you: The Sallie Mae Smart Option Loan offers competitive fixed interest rates in addition to our low variable interest rates on all in-school repayment options, Sallie Mae provides even more choice and flexibility. For each new loan, you can choose the pricing and repayment option that best fits your needs (minimum $1,000). There are no fees, and there are additional ways you can save, such as choosing to make automatic payments from your debit account, and more. Wells Fargo offers the Wells Fargo Collegiate® Loan, and the Wells Fargo Education Connection® Loan. These are private, credit-based loans which you must qualify for and pay back in full. If you are currently employed, inquire with your employer as many companies provide tuition reimbursement/assistance for professional development courses and programs. Qualified students (currently unemployed) may be eligible under the provisions of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. California’s Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), established in compliance with WIA, provides customer-focused employment training for adults and dislocated workers.
