FAIM 2010: Intelligent Manufacturing and Services

Economies, information, and technology have become global, and many companies are outsourcing and developing extended enterprises. This has led to an evolution in manufacturing organizations, transforming insular factory-based systems to global networks of cost-driven systems. These developments are supported by enhancements to the service, technology, processes, and design methodologies that increase competitiveness.

At FAIM 2010, internationally renowned keynote speakers, including successful industrial practitioners, will address the concerns, trends, and best-practice solutions in sustainable enterprise, covering small to large systems.

Abstract Submission:

Authors are invited to submit an abstract written in English of approximately 300 words within the conference theme and tracks. Submissions must be received by the 23 November, 2009 for review and authors will be notified of the outcome by the 14 December, 2009. Get full Abstract Submission instructions here.

Location and Travel:

FAIM 2010 will be hosted by California State University, East Bay at its Oakland Center, approximately 20 minutes from San Francisco. The Center and nearby hotels are easily accessible by public transportation and close to regional tourist attractions.
