Online Continuing Education for Teachers

With academic credits from California State University, East Bay Continuing Education, teachers can fulfill state requirements for professional development, obtain credits for salary advancement, (students need to check with their own district or institution for applicable policies), or simply satisfy a desire to grow professionally and obtain new knowledge and ideas for their students.

Now, earning your academic units is easier than ever with our self-paced online teacher education courses that can be completed from your home or classroom.

Course Delivery

All of our courses are self-paced and delivered via one of three convenient instructional formats: online, CD-ROM, or video. Full technical and educational support is provided with each course.

Online and CD-ROM courses require a minimum Mac 9.2/OS 10.x system or PC with Windows 2000 or newer, as well as a 15" or larger color monitor, 256 MB of RAM with 5 MB of available hard disk space, a CD-ROM drive, and a printer attached to the computer.
