in Danville, Walnut Creek Senior Center, Museum of the San Ramon Valley in Danville, Casa Sandoval in Hayward, Lake Park Retirement Center in Oakland, and Temple Isaiah School in Lafayette.
Registration is required for most of our events, except where noted.

| Description: |
Join OLLI and our community partners at Save Mount Diablo for an autumn hike through scenic Mangini Ranch. Located on the Northwest of the mountain, and normally closed to the public, this 207 acre property of rolling grassland, towering oaks, buckeyes, and a rare desert olive grove is also the site of the headwaters of Galindo Creek. Plan for a two and a half hour hike with one strenuous climb and elevation gain of 800 feet. Put on your hiking boots, pack a bag lunch with water, and visit a secret spring surrounded by burrowing owls, quail and learn more about the restoration project planned for the ranch. |

Join OLLI for a docent-led exploration of the Asian Art Museum's Beyond Golden Clouds: Five Centuries of Japanese Screens exhibit. Across the decorative surfaces of these folding screens artists have depicted both nature and their own expansive visions. Bright mineral pigments and precious metals shimmer and give life to these fragile masterpieces even after five hundred years. Come stroll the exhibit with us and enjoy a treat for mind and eye. |
