California State Notary Public Training

California State University, East Bay offers a one-day training for Notary Publics class. The class gives aspiring notary publics and notary publics appointed on or after July 1, 2005 a way to meet the educational requirement mandated by California law.

We offer the Training for Notary Publics class at the Hayward Hills and downtown Oakland campuses.

For new and more experienced notary publics seeking to increase their income, Cal State East Bay also offers a half-day Building Your Notary Public/Loan Signing Agent Business class. As financial services, real estate and legal business have a perpetual need for the services of a notary public, those who start a notary business often find it lucrative. The class will cover topics such as new laws and current laws in review, business planning and how to promote your services to potential clients.
