Game Design

Certificate Program

In partnership with the Multimedia Graduate Program and the Art Department, Continuing Education introduces the first three courses for a new Certificate in Game Design. Beginning with the Unity game development environment, this certificate program gives aspiring game designers the skills in animation, scripting, and game psychology so that they can create and bring together all the elements for a fun and engaging game.

The Game Design Certificate Program presents a sequence of hands-on courses that build skills in the various aspects of game design and development.  By the end of this study program, knowledge of game theory, and player rewards, combined with your new technical abilities, will help you produce a  successful game, suitable for play on iOS, Android, web, or desktop platforms.

The gaming market is growing rapidly, moving into new demographics, social groups, the corporate world, and even government. Develop a game for your portfolio as you learn the skills and strategies of this exciting creative industry.
