Chemical Dependency Studies

State Track Curriculum


Certificate Requirements

To earn a certificate in Chemical Dependency Studies, State Track, you must complete 5 required courses, which include one 160-hour practicum course. You must receive a "C" grade or above for a class to apply towards the certificate. This program can be completed in 12 months.

Program Format

The Chemical Dependency Studies Certificate Courses are conveniently offered on the weekends at our Hayward Hills Campus.

This program meets the new state license requirements that went into effect April 2005 for entry level counselors at state-licensed recovery homes or outpatient clinics.
