Transportation
The Hayward Hills Campus is easily accessible via car or public transportation.
For travel by car, please refer to the directions below.
Cal State East Bay operates the Hill Hopper, a free shuttle service
to/from BART's Hayward
station, which serves as a hub for three bus lines: AC Transit, County
Connection, and SamTrans, from San Mateo County. AC
Transit's #60 bus route also includes stops on campus. CSUEB also
has a ride-share referral service.

Directions
From 880 (Nimitz) or 92 (San Mateo bridge)
Exit Jackson Street east. Turn right at Santa Clara Street, which becomes
Harder Road. Cross the intersection at Mission Blvd. Proceed up the
hill to campus. Follow campus signs from there.
From Pleasanton
Take 580, until it connects to 238 west. (Do not take the 580 exit that
goes to Oakland). Take the E. 14th Street exit. Turn right on E. 14th
which becomes Mission Blvd. Continue south on Mission Blvd. Turn left
at Carlos Bee Blvd. Go up the hill to campus. Follow campus signs from
there.
From Oakland or Castro Valley on 580
Take the Hayward exit southbound onto Foothill. Take the left lane and
follow as it veers south onto Mission Blvd./238. Turn left at Carlos
Bee and go up the hill to the campus. Follow campus signs from there.
Parking
Student Parking Permits can be purchased on-line, www.csueb.bkstr.com, or by check or cash at the Cashiers Office, 1st floor of the Student Administration Building, phone number: (510) 885-3865.

Parking Availability
At certain times of the day, parking can sometimes be difficult to find. Parking permits are not a guaranteed space availability.

The Department of Public Safety, Police Services, can provide escort
